I enjoy translating complex ideas into accessible and compelling visual designs, from designing brand identity, documenting landscapes and community events to designing campaigns, publications, and digital communications.
I'm a naturally creative thinker who loves finding visual ways to communicate ideas, whether through thoughtful design, hand-drawn illustration, photography, or video. My approach combines creativity with strategy to help organizations communicate clearly and authentically across multiple platforms.
I started Quiet Perch Creative Studio as a place to turn quiet observation into meaningful design. Quiet Perch is rooted in a love of witnessing nature’s magic, quiet reflection, and honest creativity. I’m inspired by adventure, wandering, and change, but equally by the quiet moments hidden within them.

A little about me…
Hi, I’m Hayley!
Part illustrator, part designer, part forest-dwelling daydreamer. I’m based in Bend, Oregon and passionate about telling stories through visual art. I love riding my bike, drawing in nature, and collaborating on creative projects.
I have a BA in Visual Storytelling & Design and an AA in Visual Arts. I earned a certificate in 2D Character Animation from Gobelins L'Ecole de L’Image and began my career as a freelance illustrator, collaborating with a range of clients, big and small. In the last five years, I have worked professionally in animation and graphic design and look forward to serving my community by creating designs and visual communications for local businesses and nonprofits.
I approach creativity through observation and reflection and I am often sparked by quiet moments in nature.

The name Quiet Perch reflects the way I approach creativity; through observation and reflection. The name speaks to my nature of noticing details, drawing inspiration from my surroundings, and creating with intention. It’s about finding clarity in quiet moments and translating that into work that feels rooted, thoughtful, and inspired.
